We're Growing!

The past year has been so much fun! We started in my own backyard with workshops last summer. When school started in the fall, we utilized a classroom within Parents' Cooperative Preschool offering open studio for preschool age kids 3 days a week. Looking forward to Summer 2011, we will soon be in a new space and able to offer kids of all ages the chance to explore art. Stay tuned for all the details!

About the Studio

The studio is an inviting, creative, family-friendly space where kids of all ages have access to a variety of art materials to explore at their own pace, in their own way. Small class size allows me to give each child the attention they need without feeling cramped for space or rushed for time. Art exploration should be free and uninhibited, and is often messy! Kids should come to the art studio in play clothes and old shoes. Parents should expect to find a little paint in the hair or glue on clothes every now and then. Remember - your child is an artist - and making a mess is a sign of success! The best part is that you don't have to clean up the mess!
